CLARKSVILLE -- Sylvan Hills wrestling Coach Dusty Clark acknowledged senior D'Mysha James was in one of the toughest matches of her high school career trailing 11-2 at Saturday's Meet of Champions 190-pound matchup at the Mabee Sports Complex on the campus of the University of the Ozarks.

LITTLE ROCK - For the second straight year, El Dorado had a wrestler competing for a championship in the 5A State Wrestling Tournament. Junior Sharnesia Tate advanced to the finals of the girls 235-pound division before losing to D’mysha James of Sylvan Hills on Saturday. Senior Dunte Maker, who advanced to last year’s championship, was scheduled to wrestle for third place Saturday night in the boys’ 215-pound division. Earlier in the day, sophomore Maddie Aguiluz won third place in the girls’ 100-pound division.
