carley. todd: brooke singman joins us with the latest. brooke: brian walshe was arrested yesterday for murder of his wife and being charged with improper transz port of a body. authorities face the task of prosecuting a murder case without ana s remains. brian could appear in court today as early as 9 a.m. dependent on defense attorney availability. here is a timeline leading up to brian s arrest. new year s day ana was last seen alive. it wasn t until january 4th police were notified, they arrested and charged brian with misleading investigators on the 8th and january 9th, police recovered a bloody xief from the basement of brian and ana s home. police report revealed brian had threatened to kill ana several years ago. yesterday brian walshe was charged with the murder. a friend of ana said she was a forgiving wife that believed the best in brian. she was always defending brian and giving him chances, maybe that kindness killed her, sounds horrible to say. she is ....
it is top of the hour. just in to cnn, michael cohen, the former personal attorney to president trump is meeting at the manhattan da s office. this is a very strong indication that the sweeping investigation into the trump organization is continuing. and perhaps the focus has returned to this hush money payments to stormy daniels. we re following the story. what did michael say when he went in? we have video, you played it of michael walking into the manhattan district attorney s office. cohen said he could not comment on what the topics they would be discussing would be. but he might have more to say when he is leaving. but this is the first time cohen has been in since this investigation has been led by the manhattan district attorney. he previously been in to meet with investigators 13 times over the previous years. the trump organization and the financial statements, now sources tell me that the investigators have refocused back to the hush money payments. of ....
trump s defense attorneys. it will be interesting to see whether or not they go back to the judge that ordered this, judge cannon in west palm beach, and say, you know, you never really addressed this, so why is the special master bringing this up, is this something you can make a ruling on? so i think that s something we ll have to watch. we have crossed the top of the hour. tom winter and vaughn hillyard. tom, how does this fit in as we step back out of the weeds on this investigation, how does this fit into the larger look the doj is taking at these documents, whichever way this decision breaks from the special master? does it really change the thrust of the investigation from doj? vaughn pointed out the special master, judge dearie, is hoping he can have the review portion done by october 7th. everybody is targeting a november 30th date for completion here. that s what the judge who initially ordered targeted this as well. presumably the week after thanksgiving ....
