Too many dollar stores? Canton councilmen question number of shops
CANTON – Travel a few miles in any direction and you're bound to pass a store with "dollar" in its name. Dollar General and Family Dollar each have five stores in Canton, and Dollar Tree has four stores within the city limits. City Council recently approved a replat for the future site of a sixth Dollar General, but it also prompted members to question the apparent glut of dollar stores.
