Arguments and citations for the SignGate narrative (open-sourcing the alumni amicus brief)
I'm not a fan of the university's decision to give in to the Big Ten before tomorrow's hearing, though I'm sure they had their reasons. Unfortunately, I fear it will spawn yet another wave of speculation-filled SignGate takes that make Michigan look terrible even though there is so far no publicly available evidence contesting Stalions' statement that he acted alone. People are now assuming that Michigan has something to hide or was afraid they would lose at the hearing.
