Recorded on Jan. 19, 1974, Mingus at Carnegie Hall was originally released as a single LP with only two long jam sessions of C Jam Blues and Perdido. But the concert actually included two hours of performances, which meant that more than 70 minutes of music were left on the cutting room floor.
