A Florida woman who was the victim of a hatchet attack from a man who was staying at her home has died, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect was staying with the victim and her husband after he lost his job.
The 56-year-old victim's family prepared to take her off life support Saturday.
Michel Dougherty, 40, was charged with one felony count of Attempted Second Degree Murder.
