Obituary: Alice Jeanne Osborne Black of Humphrey | Stuttgart Daily Leader


Alice Jeanne Osborne Black, who passed away Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021, was born to Imogen and Harry B. Osborne in Pine Bluff, AR. After a few days, she came to Humphrey, AR where she remained the rest of her life. She, Donna Wessels, Ann Epperson and Irene Ellerman grew up on the same street in Humphrey and became lifelong friends. Alice, Donna and Ann lived on the same street, until Alice’s death. Nancy Lockhart came to visit her grandparents in Humphrey during summers and became another lifelong friend. 
Alice was a graduate of Humphrey High School. She also attended Stephens College, a private women’s college in Columbia, MO for a year. She made more lifelong friends during her time at Stephens. ....
