Another Slosberg may continue family political dynasty — starting with campaign to unseat state lawmaker Kelly Skidmore

Emily Slosberg-King isn’t running for re-election. Irv Slosberg lost his last election and says his “running days are over.” But the Slosberg political dynasty might not be over just yet. One big obstacle to a third Slosberg’s election: it would require defeating incumbent state Rep. Kelly Skidmore.

Wearing your seatbelt in Florida became a primary offense with The Dori Slosberg and Katie Marchetti Safety Belt Law, effective June 30, 2009. The law requires all drivers, all front-seat passengers, and all passengers under 18 to fasten their safety belts.
You don’t want to find yourself involved in a potentially damaging personal injury claim, especially if you haven’t fastened your seatbelt. If you have been injured in a car accident, or have any other type of legal claim, contact a Florida auto accident attorney immediately for help.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida's first year enforcing its hands-free driving policy didn't bring in a whole lot of citations.
Officers began writing tickets for the new rule in January, which forbids drivers from having mobile devices in their hands while in school or work zones.
Lawmakers drafted the bill in the 2019 legislative session to help minimize distracted driving in the state. It kills more than 200 Floridians each year and accounts for more than 100,000 crashes.
