Jan 19, 2021 Doris E. Ashing, 83, of Gilman, passed away peacefully early in the morning of Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Westbrook Acres in Gladbrook under the care of Hospice Compassus. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to both Westbrook Acres and Hospice Compassus for the excellent service and compassionate care of Doris in her final months. Per the wishes of Doris and her family, cremation rites have been accorded and a private burial will take place at Dobson Cemetery.
