S&W Seed releases herbicide-tolerant sorghum system
Mike McGinnis S&W Seed Company and ADAMA Ltd., have announced U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approval of FirstAct, the herbicide component of the companies’ Double Team Sorghum Cropping Solution for over-the-top grass control in grain sorghum. The two companies developed the Double Team herbicide-tolerant trait through S&W’s research and technology platform in collaboration with the United Sorghum Checkoff Program (UCSP) funding.
