Janet Glady Ames, a well-loved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away in Ashland, Oregon on January 7, 2021. She was 86 years of age. Janet was born in Wahpeton, North Dakota to Albert and Ella Johnson on November 29, 1934. She relocated to Crescent City, California with her husband Herbert Ames and together they raised 5 children. Janet worked at the Bob Ames Furniture Company for many years until the couple relocated to Reno, Nevada where she worked at the MGM gift shop selling memorabilia.
