O’Chiese First Nation Chief Douglas Beaverbones won’t let a meeting that was scheduled with Health Minister Tyler Shandro and Alberta Health Services
yesterday in Red Deer and cancelled without explanation stop him from taking action.
“I’m still trying to find a way to meet with him,” said Beaverbones about Shandro.
High on his agenda is the behaviour his members face when they encounter health professionals. Similar concerns have been raised by members of Sunchild
and Big Horn First Nations.
