Very well taken because the hearing on september 8th on a tuesday, that was all designed to set up about the drawdown in afghanistan. a lot of that is being lost now, madam ambassador. i would imagine unless we get answers or transcripts from the conversation itself, half that hearing could be consumed by this as opposed to the chaos in couple. couple. reason why he has full faith and milley is because he didn t do this to biden. this is where protocols need to be clarified. this is where the president needs to go in there and say, i don t care what it is. if we make a call to one of our adversaries, i want to know about it and i want to know what s going to happen. i will tell you on the transcripts, just because, look. ....

Afghanistan withdrawal against military advice. he did say that it s all right to acknowledge that he opposed the effort that took place. two sources in hearing tell fox the former commander of u.s. troops in afghanistan general austin scott miller passed his recognition through the chain of command that 2500 troops should remain on the ground to maintain stability given the taliban threat assessment. miller s view with troops should maintain a holding pattern, potentially supplemented by additional forces from allied nations. giving no recommendation on how long they should stay and making clear he didn t know what the end timeline would be. but he strongly dissented with the intelligence belief afghanistan would fall to the taliban in one to three years. miller saying it would go much, much faster. he did not tell the president of that because the president wasn t there. fox has also learned miller did have the chance to share his views with president biden several times befo ....
