Released as a launch title for the PlayStation 5, Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a 3D platformer for up to four players. People loved the game for a variety of reasons, but the levels in the game choreographed entirely to iconic pop tracks connected particularly well with our audience. This article will cover how we built these levels, picked the tracks and, crucially, how we pulled it all together. Sackboy: A Big Adventure Online Multiplayer and Cross-Play Added It’s a big day for Sack People. Sony and Sumo Digital released the much-promised update that adds all sorts of Sackboy: A Big Adventure online advantages. Essentially, everyone gets a chance to play well together, as online multiplayer is available in all versions. There’s even cross-play compatibility. Previously, the game was limited to local multiplayer. Once both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 owners update to the latest version, they can play online with people on the same or different platforms. There are even ten Teamwork multiplayer levels, with two in each world. You also save all Dreamer Orbs earned in multiplayer sessions, even if you aren’t the host. ....
Sackboy: A Big Adventure Sews Up Online Update Today, PS4 to PS5 Save Transfer Sackboy: A Big Adventure – the wonderful Sumo Digital developed platformer for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 – has added full online multiplayer, as previously promised by the UK developer. You’ll need to download a new title update, but once it’s installed, you’ll be able to collaborate with up to three other knitted pals – what’s not to love? If you play in co-op, then you’ll bring all of you Dreamer Orbs back with you, while there’ll be cross-play across PS5 and PS4, so you don’t all need to be on the same system. Even more importantly, you can now transfer your save progress from the last-gen version to the next-gen edition, which should prove useful for those getting Sony’s spangly new system for Christmas. ....
