Delaware News Journal A 39-year-old man was injured Saturday night after being shot in Bear, continuing a bloody weekend in Delaware. New Castle County Police were called to the community of Rivers End, south of St. Georges Terrace, just before 9:41 p.m. for reports of the shooting. When officers arrived, they were told a man had been shot and had checked himself into a local hospital. Detectives "arrived at the scene and assumed the investigation," the department said. Police were called to the first block of Denham Ave. around 3 p.m. for reports of the shooting. One person was airlifted to the hospital, the department said.
