Burlington, IA- Authorities have arrested a West Burlington man after he led police on a chase through Burlington. According to a news release, on Friday, April 22nd at about 11:36 PM, a Des Moines County deputy attempted to stop a vehicle for an equipment violation at US Highway 34 and Beaverdale Road. The vehicle failed to stop and attempted to elude law enforcement eastbound on US Highway 34 while reaching speeds of 100 miles per hour.
