anti jewish in american history. let s take a look now at the human cost of russia s invasion of ukraine. moscow, like kyiv, has been very secretive when it comes to casualties from the fighting, but a bbc investigation suggests at least 25,000 russian soldiers have died. that s four times higher than the figure acknowledged by the kremlin. the research also suggests many of the casualties are now older fighters, with little or no training, with significant numbers recruited from prisons. 0ur correspondent 0lga ivshina has this special report. these are the war graves russia doesn t want to talk about. since december, the bbc has located seven new cemeteries dotted across russia and occupied ukraine. they are filled with the graves of poorly trained fighters. many were prisoners, recruited by the notorious wagner mercenary group. and the cemeteries are growing rapidly. this one is about 20 times bigger than it was six months ago. since the start of the war, we have been ....

we start with a troubling landmark for the climate as 2023 smashes the record, for the world s hottest year ever recorded. european scientists say, that 2023 left the records tumbling like dominoes . the average global temperature in the past 12 months was 14.98 degrees. that beats the previous hottest year set in 2016 by 0.17 degrees. the announcement was made by the eu s climate change service. and the met office in the uk believes this record could be short lived, as their forecasts suggest 2024 could be even hotter. earlier, i spoke to our climate editor, justin rowlatt, who told me that record was broken by some margin. yeah, it is interesting, isn t it? the margin, as you say, was 0.17 celsius. you might say, well, that doesn t sound very much to me, but remember, this is a global average, an average across the entire globe day and night across the entire year, and normally scientists say they expect it to be broken by a tiny fraction of a degree, 0.01, 0.0 ....

g getting up way too early on this monday morning. morning joe starts right now. donald trump s position on the national debt is identical to joe biden s. there have been promises made about draining the swamp, building the wall, doing all these things you know, none of that came to fruition. he is a child when someone disagrees with him. he engages in reckless conduct. i don t need to read the indictment or believe its allegations are true, though i m pretty confident they are. clearly, it was unauthorized, illegal and dangerous. i view them serious and disqualifying for a commander in chief. anybody who doesn t want to look at the facts should be disqualified from running, not just trump. so many of those people saying that worked for him yeah. you had his attorney general. you had his national security adviser. you had his secretary of defense. you had his top ranking officials. all republicans. all supporters of donald trump all people that ....
