That's what fits into the 1873 colt single action army, which is what baldwin was apparently using. you've got a blank one, you'll notice it's crimped on the front. then if you were to load in a live round, this is a live round of ammunition in a .45 long colt. you notice the projectile. then you're dealing with another dummy round that looks like the real deal. it's beautiful. it's shiny, it's brand new. but it's got that silver primer at the bottom, a little silver circle that's got a big dent in it which indicates it's used, spent primer. so even if it had powder in it, it wouldn't go off. ...
