Dundee Science Centre's new £2.1 million refurbishment fully accessible

Dundee Science Centre has undergone a £2.1 million transformation during lockdown.
The popular centre now provides more features for people with additional needs, including sensory zones, interactive exhibitions and new seating and lighting.
A number of local assisted needs groups helped design the work, which has also seen the entire ground floor redeveloped with brand new exhibitions and facilities.

Now, as the science centre prepares to reopen to the public on June 26, the groups involved have had a sneak peek at the results. ....

Dundee dad's bid to provide homes for male victims of domestic abuse

A Dundee dad is using his own experiences of domestic abuse to provide homes a for other male victims.
The 47-year-old  has secured just under £75,000 from property investors to get the project off the ground.
He now hopes to be able to provide the first of the properties to someone in need by this August.
Gavin Innes, creator of Coldside Angels.
While the project was inspired to help male victims, the properties will also be available for women.
Gavin hopes to have as many as 20 properties by 2024. ....
