One engine from Powey Lane was sent to the incident in Dunlin Close, Neston, at 9.51pm. The fire involved decking in the garden of the property. Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "From around 9.50pm firefighters began receiving reports of a fire involving decking in the garden of a domestic property in Dunlin Close, Neston. "The fire was out on arrival. "Firefighters used a hose reel jet to damp down the area affected by the fire to make it safe. "A thermal imaging camera was used to monitor temperatures. "Firefighters were in attendance for less than half-an-hour."
