A tentative agreement reached in February would guarantee a pair of 2.25% raises and $600 one-time stipends. Union members have already reportedly approved the deal, and School Board members are set to consider following suit later this month.
This will be the third year in a row that Jill Lofald will lead the board.
The same side effects from COVID-19 vaccines, like fatigue, fever and a sore arm, are to be expected in the 5-11 age group, though studies show that that age group seems to have fewer side effects than any other so far, St. Louis County Public Health Division Director Amy Westbrook said.
With smarts and forward-thinking priorities, Kelly Durick Eder, an incumbent, and Amber Sadowski, a newcomer to elected public service, have risen to the top this fall in the three-way race for two open at-large seats on the Duluth School Board.
