A Trigg County man who was indicted on sexual abuse charges last year was arrested last week after allegedly violating his bond release and being within 500 feet of one of his victims.
During Trigg Circuit Court Rule Day Wednesday, Gene Bush appeared virtually from the Christian County Jail.
According to a Cadiz Police Department arrest citation, Bush was at the Cadiz Restaurant on Thursday, May 6, while his victim was working a shift. Bush told Circuit Judge Woody Woodall he did not know his victim was at the restaurant. Bush was arrested the next day on a Trigg County Circuit Court bench warrant signed by Judge Woodall, charging him with contempt of court. ....
