A FORMER care home worker who sexually abused a pensioner will be sentenced on Monday.

Dylan Birkett court THE sentencing of a former care home worker who sexually abused a pensioner with dementia has been put back. Dylan Birkett, 21, was caught on the camera molesting an elderly woman in her bedroom at a Barrow nursing home. He previously admitted to charges of sexual assault and causing a person to engage in sexual activity. The defendant, whose address was previously given as Bay View Grove, was due to be sentenced today at Preston Crown Court. The hearing has now been put back with a new date yet to be decided.
