Man now faces two counts of second-degree murder, one count of criminal vehicular homicide and three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon.
The candlelight vigil Wednesday will include music and readings.
“The criminals used their car as a choice of weapon and intentionally hit our precious baby girl and killed her,” family members said.
A 17-year-old girl struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver last weekend in Forest Lake is being remembered by family and friends as a loving person who dreamed of going to college and becoming a veterinarian. A suspect has been charged in connection with her death.
