Petersburg City Councilor recovers from COVID-19
The Progress-Index PETERSBURG - Through a tired voice and lingering cold, Ward 1 Councilor Treska Wilson-Smith said that she's almost entirely recovered from a month-long fight with COVID-19. She was originally diagnosed from a test taken on Nov. 18, and is continuing to quarantine until January. "Most of the symptoms are gone. I still have a slight cough at night, I'm still a little tired, but compared to what I went through I feel really great," Wilson-Smith said.
