cschuldt@nujournal.com The millstone from the first windmill in Brown County is part of the collection. The windmill was located in the Sigel Township. The millstone still bares the name of the owner and date: Brandt 1856. BROWN COUNTY — The Brown County Historical Society (BCHS) is putting in the final touches of one of its most ambitious museum exhibits, “Becoming Brown County.” This will be a new permanent exhibit in the Brown County Museum.
