From a wildflower walk to star gazing, the Little Traverse Conservancy has plenty of events planned in May.
In partnership with Earth Week Plus, the public is invited to join a traditional Native American Sunrise Ceremony on Sunday, April 28.
The group will learn about the importance of fisheries to tribal communities and see walleye and whitefish fingerlings on the tour.
Free fishing and other fun activities for children will be available at the Children’s Trail in Cheboygan from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on June 10.
Join a hike at the Agnes S. Andreae Nature Preserve on June 3 where attendees can experience the preserve’s Nature Megaphone.
