Movie-lovers can enjoy big screen experience in stunning Honister Slate Mine surroundings Honister Slate Mine is hosting the Outdoor Picture Palace for five nights from Wednesday. Films Top Gun, 1917, Bohemian Rhapsody, The Greatest Showman and Free Solo will be screened on consecutive evenings. The Outdoor Picture Palace was set up by Alex Chesters, originally from Cumbria but now living in Lancaster.
