An engineer, a scientist and a retired FBI chemist-turned-professor are hoping to find where the 19-year-old's body is buried and are using volatile organic compounds found in soil to help them search.
José Antonio Velásquez was the man identified by the coroner's office. He was reported missing after disappearing under suspicious circumstances, authorities said.
