The Nigerian Army has said that a combined team of soldiers, seamen, police personnel and vigilantes raided the camps of alleged members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its militant wing, Eastern Security Network (ESN). It said troops of Exercise Golden Dawn III in conjunction with personnel of the Nigerian Navy, police operatives and local vigilantes on Monday, while acting on credible intelligence raided the camps in the Orsumoghu general area of Anambra State.
