Nigeria Police Announce Killing Of Alleged IPOB, ESN Lieutenant On Wanted List During Imo Raid
The police in Imo State, southeast Nigeria on Tuesday said a 'wanted commander of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its militant wing, Eastern Security Network (ESN)' had been killed in a gunfight. The police also identified the deceased as the Second in Command to one Ebube Virus. In a statement issued by the spokesperson for the state police spokesman, Henry Okoye, on Tuesday, the police noted that the deceased was on the Command’s wanted list due to his nefarious activities in the Aboh Mbaise area.
