  The Imo State Police Command has paraded suspected killers of a Divisional Police Officer (DPO) and an Inspector at the Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area of the state. Parading the suspects at the Command Headquarters in Owerri on Sunday, the Commissioner of Police, Danjuma Aboki, said the relentless efforts of the police and other security operatives in unravelling the killers of the police officers led to the invasion of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Eastern Security Network (ESN) camp at Umuohie in Ngor Okpala LGA of the state.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has dissociated itself from what it described as nefarious activities of some criminal elements scamming people with fake IPOB identity cards within the Orlu areas of Imo State and its environs. IPOB in a disclaimer issued on Friday by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, said that it does not issue identity cards to its members, nor did the leadership of the group authorise anyone to issue identity cards to anyone on her behalf.
