Moodle in English: Command to run Cron.php
Re: Command to run Cron.php Wednesday, 10 March 2021, 2:01 AM Arlo, a VPS is very similar to your hosted server, except that it is "bigger" and requires a little more thought. No, you do not run a VPS on your own computer. The VPS is still managed by a server company, so you don't need anything in your basement or anything like that. There are many companies that sell VPSs. What you will find by those here on Moodle.org using VPSs is that they chose their company for a variety of reasons. We kind of settle into a solution and then stick with it.
