MLK oratorical contest set for Sunday
THOMASVILLE â A panel of 12 contestants from North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia will compete for the top prize Sunday as part of the 20th Martin Luther King Social Action Committee Oratorical Contest, beginning at 3:30 p.m. Each year, the committee raises scholarship funds to be distributed among the contestâs winners.
