A third woman was wounded in Monday’s incident in Southeast Washington, and police found an infant boy at the scene.

Firefighters were called to the 2300 block of Good Hope Court off Good Hope Road around 7:30 p.m. on Monday. When they arrived, they found one person with a gunshot wound outside the apartment. Police said two other women were found shot inside the apartment. Wanda Wright, 48, and Ebony Wright, 32, both of Southeast, died from their injuries.
