Preparing for winter road conditions - and last updated 2021-01-08 20:32:46-05 COLORADO SPRINGS â Ahead of the potential winter conditions forecast for this weekend, the Colorado Department of Transportation is preparing for winter driving conditions. Plow trucks in the southern area of the state, including in Trinidad, will be working 12 hour shifts to keep the roads clear and safe.
