Hudson Reporter Memorial services will be held at a later date for Edelma Falla, 94, formerly of Hoboken. She passed away Dec. 9, at Emerson Health and Rehabilitation Center, Emerson. During her final days, she was surrounded by her son, Juan Falla and his wife Kim, and nursing home staff who treated her as family and cared for her. Edelma was born May 21, 1926, in Santa Isabel de las Lajas, Cuba to Alejandro and Damasa Mendez. She married Luis A. Falla in January 1953 who preceded her death on August 3, 1990.
