An alleged drunk driver hit another vehicle at the intersection of 1st Street South and 28th Avenue in Willmar on Friday. The alleged drunk driver then fled the scene, while the other driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Willmar man accused of hitting woman with table leg, injuring infant
Eduardo Amaya, 23, of Willmar, is facing multiple charges related to the incident, including felony second-degree-assault — fear and felony threats of violence. Amaya was arrested early Sunday night for the incident and has been held in the Kandiyohi County Jail. A domestic-abuse-no-contact order was issued and his initial appearance is scheduled for May 12.
