Finding your COVID vaccine in El Dorado and Douglas counties

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - With the approval of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine along with Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna, more doses are now available in the country, but finding them has been a challenge for many.
With the South Shore split between two states, there are different vaccine distribution methods. People need to also know where they fall in the eligibility list.

There are currently three ways vaccines are being distributed in the South Lake Tahoe area - one is through El Dorado County (which covers Safeway, health department and clinics) and the other is by direct booking at CVS.
