Disney & ABC are teaming for a one-night special on December 15th to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the animated Beauty and the Beast.

The two-hour special will include “brand-new sets and breathtaking costumes inspired by the classic story,” with every performance designed to “pay homage while also adding to the iconic story,” the announcement says.
The television event will contain both clips from the animated film and live-action performances to honor the original movie.
A live-action and animated Beauty and the Beast special will air on ABC timed to the Disney film's 30-year anniversary.
