GLADSTONE Marilyn A. Anglim, age 85, of Gladstone, passed away peacefully Monday evening, January 25, 2021 at OSF Hospital in Escanaba.
Marilyn was born July 14, 1935, in Escanaba, the daughter of J. Walter and Geraldine (DeVet) VanDeWeghe. She was raised in Kipling and graduated from Gladstone High School Class of 1953. Marilyn attended Northern Michigan University where she achieved a State Limited Certification, Bachelor of Science degree, master’s degree in elementary education, and. She taught for many years in the Gladstone Area School District. More specific, she spent 2 years at Flat Rock Elementary, six years at All Saints School and 25 years at Jones Elementary in Gladstone. Marilyn retired in 1997. ....
