The space, which offers a physical location to support and advocate for Black students, will be open to the campus community beginning April 30.
In 2019, Chancellor Henry T. Yang promised the creation of an OBSD, funding for eight paid positions — totaling to about $900,000 — and $55,000 annually for Black Student Union programming.
