From the Farm: Last local son of Gumz family farming dynasty gone at age 90
The Gumz family is an agriculture name with long establish roots in our small town of North Judson and Starke County. Last month, Jerome “Jerry” Richard Gumz died at age 90 on Jan. 8, with his funeral held Jan. 13.
