REDDING — Officials extricated two people and a dog from a vehicle after an accident on Church Hill Road Saturday night, according to a fire department official.
One person was sent to Danbury Hospital and had minor injuries, while another person who had been stuck inside “refused transport,” said Mike Smith, training captain at West Redding Volunteer Fire Department.
“And the dog was OK, as well,” he said.
The accident involved one vehicle, according to a West Redding Volunteer Fire Department Facebook post. The vehicle “slid off the road down into a culvert,” Smith said.
