Jeffrey Thornton, a Black man who applied for a position as a technical supervisor in San Diego, has sued Encore Group, LLC, for allegedly denied him an opportunity because of his hair.
Jeffrey Thornton is suing his employer Encore Group - an event group - over hair discrimination under the CROWN Act after its San Diego office told him he had to cut his dreadlocks to get the job.
