Rebuilding Black-Jewish solidarity
Moses could never have become Moses without beloved community — a fierce love that transcends difference and brings people together in new relationships. The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. could never have transformed America without beloved community. On this national day of remembrance to honor Dr. King’s life and teachings, we need to rebuild it again, most especially between Black people, Jewish people, and Black Jewish people.
