DHAKA, Nov 8, 2023 (BSS) - The government has awarded 73 exporters with the National Export Trophy for their outstanding performance

The shipment of electrical and electronics goods from Bangladesh displayed an impressive growth of 48 per cent in July-May of the outgoing financial year on the back of improving product quality and government support, official figures showed.

Seventy-one exporters won the National Export Trophy today in recognition of their contribution to the country’s overseas trade through higher sales, the addition of new products and markets, and maintaining compliance in the financial year of 2018-19.

Electrical goods export jump Exports of electrical goods rose 42.34 per cent year-on-year to $41.93 million in the July to January period of the current fiscal year, in a testament to Bangladesh's growing prowess in the technological sector. The export receipts were $29.34 million during the same period a year ago, data from the Export Promotion Bureaus showed.
