Muskingum County planning to resurface 25 miles ZANESVILLE, Ohio — Extra funding from the Muskingum County Commissioners is helping to pave 25 miles of county roads in 2021. Muskingum County Commission President Mollie Crooks says the extra $1 million will help pave about 11 miles of road that wouldn’t have been paved this year. County Engineer Mark Eicher says the roads are selected for paving based on their existing condition. He anticipates the 2021 paving projects will cost about $2 million.
