The shortage of housing in New Zealand cities has focused attention not only on building more houses, but the sort of houses that enhance the wellbeing of those who live in them.
As cities become denser, the challenge is to create buildings that deliver on space efficiency, but are also in line with new ideas about how people live, how they interact with others and their impact on the environment.

TEHRAN: Iran s President Hassan Rouhani met Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and expressed his country s desire to further enhance bilateral relations with Pakistan in several sectors.
According to the Foreign Office, FM Qureshi, on behalf of President Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan, conveyed a message of goodwill to President Rouhani and the brotherly Iranian nation during the meeting held at the Presidential Palace in Tehran. ....

US vows to enhance relations with Pakistan

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa and US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken had a telephone conversation on Wednesday.
During the conversation matters of mutual interest, regional security situation, including latest developments in Afghan Peace Process, and bilateral cooperation in various fields were discussed.
The COAS said that Pakistan will always support “Afghan led-Afghan-owned” peace process based on mutual consensus of all stakeholders. The US dignitary also acknowledged Pakistan’s continuous efforts for peace and stability in the region and pledged to further enhance bilateral relations between both the countries. ....
