Residents in the Moran Park and Sean Browne Court area of Enniscorthy have said they feel let down by a member of Enniscorthy Municipal District Council in connection with the erection of a monopole telecommunications mast in a local soccer pitch. Last week, this newspaper highlighted some of the concerns of the residents regarding the pole, which is located on the grounds of Enniscorthy United AFC. However, in the interim residents spoke again to this newspaper to highlight their displeasure at Cllr Jackser Owens and his interaction with them on the matter. They said that the overall feeling of a lot of residents in the area is that Cllr Owens abandoned them and turned his back on them over the matter.
